Just on the other side of Azimgang right on the bank of Bhagirathi we are in the process of building a Yog centre specially for women of all ages and backgrounds at Tekpara, Nasipur, Lalbag. Right now the centre is under construction at a calm and quiet place. 'Sahodara' with its own positive aura welcomes everyone with open arms. The centre will also be run and managed by women teachers and lady Yog practitioners. 'Sahodara' means sister in Sanskrit and this spiritual retreat is built specially for the physical and mental fitness, upliftment and welfare of women of all sections and to promote Universal Sisterhood. The main building of the 'Yog centre' is notable for its roundish 8-like shape which is conducive for attracting cosmic energy from the universe. The Dhyan Ghar (Meditation Room) is notable for the special dome shaped architecture. Sahodara offers Yog classes, naturopathy, other alternative medical treatments and education among the villagers, devotees and wellwishers. Breaking away from the hustle and bustle of busy daily schedules any visitor would feel rejuvenated by the feminine love and care of Sahodara like a fresh breath of the morning air.
